HAPPY PANTS

Poonchi serves as the ambassador for Happy Pants, a project centered on Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Through this initiative, she embarks on a journey to find happiness within the complexities of her anxiety.
Her illustrations are featured on a pair of pants, embodying the concept of wearing how you feel, a visual expression of emotion through everyday wear.​​​​​​​
TARGET AUDIENCE
Target audience being younger women in higher level education.
Nearly half (45%) of the college-aged adults have been formally diagnosed
with a mental health condition by a doctor/healthcare professional.

Women are nearly twice as likely as men to be diagnosed with an anxiety disorder in their lifetime. In the past year, prevalence of any anxiety disorder was higher for females (23.4%) than for males (14.3%). (ADAA,2021)

is recording down feelings to figure out what is bothering us.
The illustrations on the pants visualizes emotions/feelings, telling a story through 'wearing your feeling'.​
