Postcard Adaptation

STILL is conceptualized into an illustrative and abstract form to further reinforce the avant-garde nature of this typeface genre. Following the form of a chair in a languorous manner, to tie in theme of needless complexity.

CONTEXT

STILL

Imagined by a chair, this poetry resonates the quiet and mayhem that eb and flows through our mind whether sentient or in obliviousness.

'So small, my heart does not call'

Explains, in quietness when one deems to be in peace, the heart shan't.

'Anything, this heart will set on fire;
Nothing, this heart will not inspire.'

Explains, too unwieldy to do anything yet feeling too deterred to do nothing.

CONCRETE

POETRY

Inspired by Fillipo Tommaso Marinetti's Les mots en liberte (Futurists Words in Freedom) , calligrams or concrete poetry is a newfound way to express emotions, stories or manifestos through varied typeface composition.

Lewis Caroll's 'The Mouse's Tale', a passage from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland from 1865, the precursor of this genre depicts how facile yet impressive by just a portion of its adaptation (calligrams} can refine the art all the more.
