CONTEXT

'Don't be a snake in one's bosom'

This term explains that when a person whom has once treated us well and have taken care (Earth) of us but at the end have unfortunately turned out to be one who is traitorous, untrustworthy, or ungrateful (humans).

EARTH DAY:

SNAKE EDITION

This poster reimagines the classic snake game from our old Nokia phones as a powerful allegory: the snakes represent us humans, struggling to survive on a planet we’ve become complicit in destroying. Earth, like the game board, nurtures and sustains us, yet we turn around and poison its air, land, and water.

INSPIRATION

Alexander Nedelev, a designer based in Bulgaria, reimagines classic arcade games to deliver a powerful environmental message in his poster series "It's Not a Game Anymore." Through iconic visuals from Pac-Man, Arkanoid, and Space Invaders, Nedelev portrays the depletion of forests, wildlife, and natural resources.
